Prior to
establishing Source AV, Don Douglas worked for eight
years in the distribution industry, for some of Canada's
largest video and communication products. Specializing
in system sales, Don was instrumental in establishing and
educating installing dealers in the then fledgling CCTV
industry in Canada. Several large and sophisticated video
and electronic security systems were designed, sold and
installed with Don's guidance and assistance. Don gained
his extensive hands-on experience over 10 years from 1976
to 1986 as an independent security and video
dealer/contractor, installing a wide variety of systems
for customers, ranging from government, law enforcement
agencies, industrial and financial institutions.
